Writing only one half of the dual mission. A report that is all blotter or all field problem sells half the MOS. The strongest MP drafts pair a law enforcement fact with a combat support fact and let the range show.
Case details in the bullet. Investigations and incidents carry privacy and legal weight. The NCOER counts and grades them, reports accepted, evaluations passed, response times, without narrating any case.
Wasting lines on tier adjectives. DA Form 2166-9-1 has no Exceeded box, so superlatives buy nothing. Spend the line on the evaluation score and the blotter trend; those survive to the board.
