Free NCOER Bullet Generator

Type what your Soldier actually did. Get a clean, on-format NCOER bullet your Senior Rater will not kick back. No account needed to try it.

Your Soldier

Write the bullet, not the whole evening

Every NCO knows this one. You have a Soldier who did solid work, a blinking cursor, and a support form due. Turning "he ran the arms room and nothing went wrong" into a bullet that reads like an NCOER, in the right format, at the right rating tier, is the part that eats your night.

This does that first draft in seconds. You give it the facts. It gives you a bullet in NCOER format, matched to the tier your facts actually support. Then you edit, because you know your Soldier better than any tool does.

How it works

  • Describe what your Soldier did, in plain language. One line is enough.
  • Pick the section and the rating tier you are writing for.
  • Get a formatted bullet you can drop straight onto the support form, then refine.

It will not inflate the rating, and that is the whole point

Here is the real difference between this and a generic AI chatbot. Ask a chatbot for a "Far Exceeded Standard" bullet and it will happily write you one, no matter how thin the facts are. A board reads that inflation in a heartbeat, and your strongest Soldiers get buried under everyone else's.

This tool checks the facts you gave it against what the tier actually requires. If your input only supports "Met Standard," it writes an honest "Met Standard" bullet and tells you what more would be needed to justify a higher tier.

Say you type: "Ran the arms room for a year, no issues, passed inspections." That is a clean record at the required standard, so it comes back honestly at Met Standard, something like:

o maintained the company arms room to standard for 12 months; passed all higher-level inspections with no major deficiencies

It then tells you what Far Exceeded would need instead: scope and result. The dollar value of the property accounted for, a problem you caught and fixed, or a measurable outcome that outlasted the event.

That honesty is what keeps your evals credible, and it is what makes your true top performers actually stand out.

Built on the regulation, not made up

Every bullet is written against AR 623-3 and DA PAM 623-3, the rules your rating chain enforces. Correct format, appropriate language, and content built to survive Senior Rater review instead of bouncing back for a rewrite.

Built for the whole form

NCOER bullets are not interchangeable. A Leads bullet is not an Achieves bullet, and a bullet for a squad leader is not a bullet for a drill sergeant.

Free to try, and honest about what is paid

You can generate bullets here free, with no account, right now. When you are ready to build a full evaluation, save your work, and export a clean support form, that is where a free account comes in. The writing help is free. Finishing the real document that is due is the part worth paying for.

Questions

Is the NCOER bullet generator really free?

Yes. You can generate bullets on this page with no account, three per month. Building and exporting a full evaluation uses a free account, and completing a real due eval is the paid step.

Will these bullets pass Senior Rater review?

They are written in NCOER format against AR 623-3 and DA PAM 623-3, which is where most kickbacks start. You should still review and edit every bullet for accuracy before it goes forward.

Does it work for every rating tier?

Yes: Met Standard, Exceeded Standard, and Far Exceeded Standard. It will not write a higher tier than your facts support, on purpose.

How is this different from asking ChatGPT?

A general chatbot writes whatever you ask, including inflated ratings that get flagged. This is built on the eval regulations and holds each bullet to the tier your facts support.

Is this an official Army product?

No. BulletForge is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the U.S. Army or the Department of Defense. It is a private writing tool.
