Wrench hours instead of fleet outcomes. Hours turned is effort. The bullet is what the fleet did: services on time, turnaround days, deadline row shrunk. Write the output the commander briefs, not the input the team sweated.
Quality record left silent. Zero rework and zero safety findings is a bullet most mechanics earn and never claim. Silence on quality lets the reader assume average; the zeros are checkable and free.
Tier adjectives on the two-box form. DA Form 2166-9-1 offers Met or Did not meet. Spend the line on the turnaround delta and the inspection record; those numbers survive to the SSG board, adjectives do not.
